Description
And here we have Peanut! I used the sprite found here fav.me/d8d5fsg
Yeah, technically a Thread Bound piece we have here!
With Tails of Babylon going on, I've been in a real Housepets mood. At least, more than usual, it's been my favorite for pretty much as long as I was aware of the comics existence.
This was rather interesting to work on, really. What I still hate are the dark browns. They came in the same bead packet, yet there are at least three different shades of it! I just gave up on trying to sort out those.
The eyes were interesting. With my last Peanut project, I used translucent, glowing blue beads, as I didn't have the bright blue I needed. Did the same thing here, but the sprite had just one pixel of really bright blue in the corner of each eye. Thankfully, I did finally get bright blue beads, and it turned out it was much brighter than the translucent beads. That worked out!
I would have liked to make a project using the Peanut sprite in Tails of Babylon, but two things; When blown up, those things were surprisingly large, and Buster made them rather intricate in terms of color palette. More bead colors than I currently have. If I do make one of those, it'll have a simplified palette.
Anyway,
Peanut belongs to
